Abstract

The paper introduces a smart shopping cart with secured billing system which is of great use for shopping at the supermarkets and malls reducing the difficulties such as waiting in long queues at the payment counter, carrying the shopping cart throughout the shopping time and calculating the total cost of the products taken, hence providing the customer with best shopping experience. Also the customer will get a notification for customised discount offers based on his shopping history as soon as he enters the mall. At the end of shopping, the customer can pay his bill directly through online payment mode such as credit/ debit cardor through mall customised digital e-cash wallet. After the successful payment, the customer receives the bill at his email id and registered mobile number. Hence the paper lights up a new way of shopping for the future world.
