Abstract

A robot arm, widely known as an industrial robot, is a reprogrammable, automated machine which is used to execute tasks that are impossible or difficult to perform for a human being. According to ISO, industrial robots are automatically controlled, reprogrammable, multipurpose manipulator programmable in three or more axes (Industrial Robot, 2011). All industrial robots have a limited working area that is called a work envelope.
