Abstract

Biometric is the system through which a person’s identity is authenticated by via the application of the physical or behavioural trait and it is widely used in every government and private sectors today. In the developing countries, application of this system is slow and the little available ones are always failed. Unimodal biometric system which make used of a single trait may not generally meet the required performance and a time subjected to intruder. Effort have been made in some of the organization to acquire more suitable and robust combination of human traits as multimodal biometrics. This paper is a glance review of application and challenges of multimodal biometrics system in the developing countries.
