Abstract

Inthe world of advance technology waste materials (fly ash &plastic waste) are widely used for construction purposes. Waste material is a very simple but powerful concept. The waste material produced by different industries is being recycled and reuse for the road construction with great interest in many industrialized and developing countries. Waste plastic use in road making is based on technical, economic, and ecological criteria. Disposal of waste materials including waste plastic bags is a menace and has become a serious problem, especially in urban areas, in terms of its misuse, its dumping in the dustbins, clogging of drains, reduced soil fertility and aesthetic problem etc. Waste plastics are also burnt for apparent disposal, causing environmental pollution. To utilize waste plastic in bituminous mixes and to utilize fly ash as filler material in bituminous mixes.
