Abstract

Brain Computer interface (BCI) is a technology which is related to Neuroprosthetics; the central nervous system which is main part of brain is connected with computer. In this the signals which are produced by the CNS in the form of electrical signal is passed through electrodes attached on the scalp. These signals are then processed, filtered, amplified, detected in the form of EEG waves. The activity of object is controlled or somewhat stimulated and the interaction with the patient suffering from neurological disorders. It has many applications like patient suffering from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, coma patients, movement restoration in stroke and spinal cord injury, including army. For more convenience some software are also available to access the type of EEG waves with its detail information.
