Abstract

India is the country where agriculture is the most valuable sector of their economy but this sector now-a-day facing lot of difficulties due to unavailability of the farmer and irregular spraying of pesticides and fertilizers. Pesticides and fertilizers are the necessary material for the cultivation of farm land for crop yield. There is a lot of limitation of traditional or conventional methods of irrigation that includes flood, drip or sprinkler to overcome these problems there is a need for the smart irrigation system. Now a day various hardware equipment is installed in the farmland to support smart irrigation but these equipment are large in size and very difficult to maintain. Use of smart drone for irrigation is the remedy of the above problem. With the help of a drone, spraying of fertilizers, pesticides, and crop protection product are easy to spread over the farm land. The main advantages of the drone are that it is small in size and can be easily controlled by a single person from a safe place. It reduces the time and maintains the safety of the farmer while spraying the pesticides. The aim of this paper is to design the quadcopters for agriculture application. This paper includes the design, fabrication, working principle, advantages and disadvantages of agricultural drone.
