FRAUD DETECTION IN TELECOMMUNICATION USING DATA MINING

Abstract

Due to the dramatic increase of fraud which results in loss of billions of dollars worldwide each year. Fraud detection involves monitoring the behavior of populations of users in order to estimate, detect, or avoid undesirable behavior. This paper present the concept of data mining and current techniques used for subscription fraud detection. This paper provide a comprehensive review of data mining and different techniques to detect frauds.
