CIVIL ENGINEERING APPROACH FOR THE CONTROL OF THE NOSOCOMIAL INFECTION

Abstract

The role of civil engineering in construction of building within the hospital is little mentioned. The important concern is not only on the strength, durability and safety but also the specific medicine concerns such as the nosocomial infection prevention. Here, the author briefly summarizes reports and discusses on the civil engineering approach for the control of the nosocomial infection for hospital setting.
