A REVIEW STUDY ON UTILIZATION OF E-WASTE IN CONCRETE WITH ADMIXTURE

Abstract

In the today’s scenario, there is a rapid generation of the e-waste. This kind of waste are generated from the outdated computers and the old computers that are not in use and are disposed off. The e-waste is becoming the most serious problem now-a-days. As this waste is not eco-friendly and is not able to decompose naturally i.e., it is a non-biodegradable waste, so it is becoming a most serious problem now. A large amount of e-waste is generated every year which is causing a big problem for its disposal. There are many researches made by many scientists about the disposal of e-waste. But many investigations have shown the e-waste can be used in the concrete as a partial replacement of the aggregate. This concept of using the e-waste in the concrete as a partial replacement of the concrete not only results in the utilization of the e-waste but it also results in more economic structure. In this research paper it has been investigated that how the e-waste can be utilized as a partial replacement of the aggregate in the concrete.
