EFFECT OF FINE AGGREGATES ON COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF GROUT

Abstract

The presented report discusses the study of Testing compressive strength of grout by using Admixture. To achieve a higher strength by decreasing the water cement at the same workability , easy placing in inaccesible locations, to reduce heat of hydration etc purposes Admixtures are used. Mainly increasing the productivity reducing the efforts is the main objective of Admixtures. Six grout types were prepared under same water/cement ratio.  Various testings were done on Cement, sand and the grout specimens with different curing intervals and the increase in compressive strength was observed with further curing. By using admixtures the compressive strength could highly be increased.
