Abstract

This thesis presents a details of the output research in accordance with the various forms of wind turbine systems in 3-phase self-exciting induction generator (SEIG). Different considerations are taken into consideration during the study, like performance, reliability and efficiency. In stand-alone mode, a 3-phase connection to resistive load is used to determine the performance and reliability of the SEIG. For evaluation of p.u, simplistic polynomial resolution frequency was considered using steady state equivalent circuit. The resulting excitation capacitance factor is given both at all actual polynomial origins without load and with load. In this article, the overall performance of SEIG induction generator was also mentioned. It analyzes the impact of rpm, magnetized reactive power, reference voltage and apparent power on the values of the frequency per unit, the necessary excitement potential and its inter-dependency between them.
