Abstract
The neuropsychiatric disorder is an important group of disease in medicine. The management of the disease is usually difficult. In severe case, the use of electric current for treatment called electroconvulsive therapy is indicated. Here, the author use the simple Ohm’s law approach in electrical engineering for explanation of the pathogenesis of neuropsychiatric disorder. It seems that an increased neuron resistance might be an important underlying factor leading to neuropsychiatric disorder.
