IMPLEMENTING CONFIDENTIALITY IN PUBLISH/SUBSCRIBE SYSTEM USING IDENTITY BASED ENCRYPTION MECHANISMS
Main Article Content
Abstract
During a content-based publish/subscribe system, providing the fundamental security mechanisms like authentication and confidentiality is very difficult. Owing to the loose coupling of publisher and subscribers it's tough to attain authentication for them. Similarly, confidentiality of events and subscriptions conflicts. By adapting the pairing-based cryptography mechanisms, authentication of publishers and subscribers similarly as confidentiality of events is ensured. The general approach provides fine-grained key management and therefore the price for cryptography, decryption, and routing is within the order of signed attributes.
