A STUDY ON NON INTRUSIVE VISION AND ACOUSTIC BASED EMOTION RECOGNITION OF DRIVER IN ADVANCED DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEM

Abstract

Transportation system is very essential for daily day today life. Due to increase in standard of living status more number of vehicles in the road. Driving is very dangerous due to more traffic and poor road system and few of the drivers consume drugs while driving. Due to advancement of information technology, nowadays people are using mobile phone while driving. Driving is one of the most dangerous tasks in our everyday lives. Most of accidents are mainly due to the poor maintenance of the vehicle, not following road rules, over speed driver’s inattentiveness. The emotions of the driver can be measured by identifying and analyzing face expressions, head movement and eye movement. In this research article, researcher developed an emotional system to identify the characteristics of driver using non intrusive methods.
