Abstract

In Buddhist pagoda, the Buddha image is the main artifact for worshiping. Similar to Hinduism shrine or Christian church, there is a main holy image kept in the main chapel of the pagoda. In general, the main holy image will have front presentation to the local people who go for a worshiping. Here, the authors present and discuss on back presentation of Buddha image in a pagoda in Thailand. This unusual presentation is due to the limitation of space and the architecture design is the solution to the problem.
