Abstract

The ancient temple ruins are common ancient places in Indochina, where Buddhism has been set for many centuries. Several ancient temple ruins are considered local heritage.  The conservation of the site is an interesting issue. Some specific ancient temple ruins locate in some strange places such as markets. In this short article, the authors discuss on the cases of ancient Buddhist temple ruins in markets in Thailand. The interesting query is whether this location support conservation or induce destruction of those local heritage ancient sites.
