ANCIENT SITE, HAUNTED ENVIRONMENT, SPIRITUAL BELIEF: A WAY TO CONSERVE HERITAGE BY LOCAL PEOPLE?

Abstract

Archeological site is usually an important national heritage in every country. The way to conserve the site is interesting. Sometimes, there are interesting local wisdoms for conservation. Here, the authors discuss on the way that the local use belief on spirit and create the haunted environment around the ancient site in Indochina. This is a way that the local site has been conserved for a very long time.
